Need some help trying to figure out what to buy as I'm replacing the distributor and wires next weekend

I use MSD's 8.5mm wires that you cut to length. It allows you to make a clean layout of the wires.

I'm running a set of the Taylor 409s, which are a 10.4mm wire. I, also, chose the cut to fit.

MSD 8.5 cut to length as well. Mostly because everything else is MSD under my hood and I could get them locally. I did order 120 degree boots from Summit so that they would fit better than 90 or straight boots.

Ford racing 9mm. I have never had a problem with them. They seem to have the correct length for each cyl.

Thanks for the help probably going to get msd cut to fit and maybe some angled boots can anyone recommend where to get them from and would it be good to get any wire hold downs (which ones) thanks for the help in advance

I use Summit Racing for virtually all motor and ignition parts. Typically nNext day delivery service for us Californians.

Lately I've been getting performance parts from Advance Auto. You can place orders online and pickup at the store. When you pay online you can use code P20 to get 20% off, or BIG25 takes $25 off of orders over $60 (basically %40 off). Also orders over $75 is free shipping. I don't know how much longer those codes will work, but I've been using them for the last 2-3 months. I got MSD street fire wires from them...

I use the MSD 8.5MM wires too.

I have done the same thing as well with Adavance, got a brand new Duraspark set up (dist & ign box) for about 75 bucks with a MSD cap.

I think you can get free shipping to your door step as well.

I used a set of Taylor Spiro-Pro 8MM wires last time around. I'm not terrifically happy with them. I don't like that the outer jacket is pure silicone, which makes it soft and easy to chip. It also gives the wires a weird sheen.

I used Ford racing 8mm wires last time around and liked the wires themselves, but they aren't the right length for running over the top of the valve covers. Next time I'm going to try a set of Moroso wires, mostly because they offer blue.

These are the only ones I could find on advance auto parts anyone used these msd wires I believe these are their base model ones right
