Something screwy on login ?

This did this same thing a couple of months ago---the forum won't keep me logged in. (yes I mark the "keep me logged in") also it won't take my password the first few times I try to sign in, any ideas why---no biggy, just curious whats up. thank you

The forum has special software that has detected you have not posted enough joke posts, and it is your punishment until you change your ways.

Ahhhh, wisely spoken weedhopper, more can be posted but I would probably get banned.
I was still logged on this time so I can only assume the joke Gods were punishing me for not posting more.

It's both on this site and the concours forum website. Since I go back and forth between the two, I am getting a bit bothered by it. But, I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

What bugs me about this issue is that when I do log in, it tells me there are no unread posts since my last visit. Then I have to go through the forums individually. :shrug

That leads me to believe the host might have changed something. No changes have been made here or on Concours.

I changed a session setting in the cookie to allow 1440 minutes instead of 60. This should allow you to stay logged in at least 24 hours.

Check the keep me logged in box should have overridden the 60 minutes but obviously something has changed. I suspect that the host may have installed a newer version of php and it is acting differently.

Let me know if this change is effective.
