My airplane restoration has gone REDICULOUSLY over budget. I'm cutting back elshewhere and the fastback GT is on the list. You may see her on craigslist or eBay in the coming days and weeks. In any case, I did get her driving quite well and even made a nice little 100- mile road trip. Also scored a couple dates with the wife. Not bad while it lasted.

The car is in better condition than I found her and the forum was a help in finding parts and resources. Thanks guys. See ya around. Maybe I'll try this again when my wallet recovers from aviation (not likely).

Hmmm :confu flying on the ground in a Mustang or flying in the air in a plane ??
Gotta' pick the 'Stang ( did I mention I don't fly ??) Oh well, your loss will be some deserving sole's gain. Hope it works out that you can do both in the future, even if distant future. Don't be a stranger. :thu

I think you should keep it for about a year...then I would be in a better position to take it off your hands. :yah

make sure you post the ebay or craigslist link...it may just push me to make a move.

Did you say airplane restoration?? Uh... I can see how that can get expensive. Kind of the opposite of a boat, a hole in the water into which one throws money. Good luck man.

He would not have to sell the Mustang if it was. It's gotta be a ME-262.

Yeah, this one:

And just because you (potentially) don't have a Mustang anymore doesn't mean that you can still hang out here & BS. :thu
