Shipping two bucket seats and rear set from Chicago to DFW?

Ok, I bought them and having a hard time getting them to Dallas from Chicago.

Two bucket seats
Top and bottom back seat

Any suggestions? They are at a retired friend of mines home and he can't really assist much. Ideas?
(BTW they are for my 69 Camaro, just so you'll know they are brand X)

I received some newer Mustang seats and they were on a wooden pallet, stacked with cardboard between them for protection. They were then wrapped with clear cellophane about 4' wide......this is a common wrapping material for any shipping/packing company. The wrapping held the entire package together and to the pallet.

You might call someone like Yellow Freight and see what they require as a starting point. May have to have them delivered to a warehouse for packing or have someone pack them where they are at.

Remove the tracks if they are still installed. Seperate the top from the bottom at the hinge and lay them flat to eachother. Each side should fit into its own box that UPS or Fedex can easily ship.

It's cheapest to ship dock to dock, but many carriers are installing lift gates on their trailers that allow them to load/unload without docks. If you know someone that works in a shipping related field, they can schedule someone to go pick up the seats if your friend can get them secured to a pallet. And you can take advantage of the discount the shipper receives with that carrier.
