self-aligning throwout bearing?

Seems like it couldn't hurt. I'm not too sure how it's a "functional upgrade on older cars", though. Maybe built sturdier to provide its "rugged performance charicteristics".

I believe I'm using one of those from Bruce at Modern driveline / superior clutch.
