Reproduction 1967 fender extensions

Does anyone have any input about the fit quality of the reproduction 1967 fender/headlight extensions? Are there multiple manufacturers? Which ones are better than others? Who sells the good ones (if any are good)? Mine were destroyed in a towing mishap. I understand from NPD that the "Ford Tooling" repros are not very good anymore because the tooling is worn out.

Why reproduction ? Sure you will find a good orignal used one . I have a set here in the EU so in the states it can't be that hard. IMHO.

I agree with Bruno, see if you can find some good used ones. The reproductions just don't fit that well. Make the towing company purchase a couple NOS units!

Well, eBay is dead to me. Keyword spammers have killed it. A simple search for 1967 Mustang Headlight Extension turns up 2600+ results, nothing on the first page is remotely what I searched for. I didn't look any further. Anyplace else I can look?

I did a quick ebay search using "1967 mustang headlight extension" and it came up with quite a few used options as well as new reproduction units. I didn't do a deep dive to see if there were any NOS units on there. My gosh the prices for used ones have gone through the roof!

Frank:

Have you checked with Packy? Happy to pick them up and get them to you if he has any. Let me know if I can help.

Regards, Jeff
