Always loved what garner67 did with his wheel and picked one up for a steal on eBay about a year ago and finally got around to removing the shellac and staining it so here's the pics couldn't find any b4 pics only have after shellac remove and after stain I think I might add some more to get it a little darker

It's no easy feat getting all the original clear coat off the wood, is it?

Did you sand, or did you use a chemical stripper?

Looks like it turned out nice in the pics... great job!

Pat, Nice work. Now that we see you working on the interior, can we safely assume you have done your suspension?

Forget the wheel, do you have any chocolate chip cookies left?
As mentioned, what was your stripping method? I used to do a lot of teakwood and used a head gun from HF, might work well on a wheel but small scraping space and curves might not work so well. The heat gun just lifts it off but if you stay in one place too long or get too close you can burn the wood.

I used this stuff called formby's and that got most of it off and then Me and my dad spent about ten minutes sanding the and then we used ebony wood stain Craig the suspension remains in the boxes still not sure about it if someone down in the la area has some time free in the future let me know

Oh ya no cookies but that's not what's on the box chocolate chip muffins and in case you ask I ate all of them already :part muahahaha

Re: suspension, If your car showed up at my door step, I'd consider helping you out.

Which one is cheaper:

A) flat bedding the car up to the bay area and back

vs

B) Putting Craig up at the Playboy mansion for a long weekend, listening to his lame comments and jokes, feeding him and then listen to him expelling internal methane gas afterwards.
