quick steer inteference?

Installed the rebuilt steering box and the roller idler (with the quick steer idler and pitman arms). put in the centerlink and tie rods and there seems to be an inteference... It is a 65 with manual steering, anyone else seen this? do you see anything that looks obvious? I was guessing at how this all goes...

I can't find a pic of mine and the car's loaded into the trailer, but either the drag link is too long or the tie rods are wrong. That just doesn't look right.
 
agreed, I'm not even sure I have the right parts... but according to what I ordered, it should be all V8 65 manual steering parts (inner/outer tierods, centerlink). The idler arm is longer than stock, it is the quick steer version (part number QS1 from mustangs unlimited)...

I have the quick steer arm too, no interference.
 
Not sure if this will help, but here are some pics off the car. My idler arm is 6" center to center or 7 7/8" overall. My centerlink is 25 5/8" center to center, or 27 1/4" overall. Tie-rod holes are 18 5/8" center to center on the centerlink.

great, I will measure tonight, could be the inner tierod end, looks like if it was 1/2" longer before the jog, it would be perfect...

I think I have those too, let me see and I'll measure those as well.
