Pics of a Civil War re-enactment we visited sat---this was very cool!

This has been going on for years 20 miles from our house--this is the first time I went---very neat, entire families dressed in the era clothing, huge crowd spread out over many acres, beautifull weather.
 
We have several occur around here each year (in the Charleston area..imagine that!). I went to one a number of years back and thought it was pretty cool. Personally I enjoyed wandering around and checking out the camps and displays.

A close friend was really into it and was part of an artillery unit (which got to go to the UK for a reenactment). One of our state senators is big into reenacting also and is usually present at the local stuff (he's also part of the Hunley commission and a big part of it's conservation).
