Other vendors beware

I know we have a lot of vendors who post and read this board, lots of them I consider friends so please read this message.

Now usually I'm not one to publicly flame anyone, I usually take the high road and deal with it but this guy has just taken me for over $1000 worth of parts.

I had a 'customer' going by the name 'Don Fisher' place 3 orders with me this month, the day after the last package arrived he has his credit card co. reverse all the charges. His email worked just fine when he was sending me messages asking about more parts, now the account no longer exists. His phone worked too, I left a few messages with his 'friend' that answered because 'Don' had just left and will be back later. 2 days later, no call back and when I try again his phone is disconnected. Ugh.

I have to go through the chargeback process in the hopes of getting some money back but its looking like a stolen card. Then it'll be a lengthy process with the police.

If any of you guys get any orders from:

'Don Fisher'
9533 Kelly Dr.
Stockton, CA95209

I strongly suggest you don't ship him anything.

On the same topic, different scum bag, somebody stole a rally pac off my display table this month at a swap meet! GRRR!

That sucks Shaun, I hope you or the police find the ba$tard and he gets a soap lov'n cell mate. If he is caught, please let us know.

What happens in a scenario like this- are you out, or does the credit card company pay you (and raise everyone else's rates to get the money back)?
I know these people are out there, but I don't know how they do it. I couldn't live in my own skin if I took something that wasn't mine.

Looks like that address is full of winners: http://www.localcrimenews.com/lookup.php?jid=5456327

I'm sorry for your misfortune with this. I'm with gsxrken, I couldn't live with myself if I stole something that wasn't mine, especially by false pretenses like this.

Bookmarked that site for sure!

We can now add another item to the list, 'bad ass handling get away car outruns police with Street or Track suspension'

Shaun,
Very sorry to hear of this. If I ever drive thru Stockton, I'll bring my bazooka. Watch the scumbag be at the Mustangs Plus show tomorrow without anyone knowing it.

Keep an eye on craigslist in that portion of the country for it to be listed, maybe he is just reselling it. I wonder if it was a stolen credit card?

Hmmmmmm good point.

How about sharing exactly what he bought from you so we can keep an eye out on our local Craigslist

I'm really sorry to hear that Shaun. Heading out in that direction tomorrow and I will end my post at that.

(There is no premeditated anything going down here.)

Sorry Shaun, what a bummer! Stockton is a rough town I don't recommend anyone do a drive by of that address!!!

Good luck with legal recourse.

That sucks! I think that we should get a lynch mob together and head to Stockton. I have the perfect lariat with his name on it.

who is whizco?

I'll let someone more knowledgeable give the details, but basically he gained everyone's trust on VMF then screwed a bunch of people over. I joined VMF after the debacle, but when I mentioned I used to work at Mustang Ranch, I raised a few suspicions. He worked at a different Mustang Ranch than I did.
