Now this is riding a motorcycle..or controlling

Impressive.....having taught motorcycle safety and demoing all the exercises on a Gold Wing, that takes some skill.

Certainly NOT taking anything away from Officer Williams, but watching the course it appears the GP Rodeo was a little different than most I've attended or participated in. That difference is they connected all the various courses into one long continuous course as opposed them being individual courses as usual. The ride between separated courses does give you a brief second to recover a little mentally. It takes concentration and that long of a continuous course ride can certainly take it out of you!

Again not taking anything from the man, but believe it or not, those are the basic course skills required to be a motor officer with most departments which utilize one of the better certification courses. He rode it at a commendable pace and really smooth! And if you didn't know what they scraping sound was, it was the foot boards dragging.....and that's not by accident! :thu

The last long weave portion you see is known by many names. When I was first certified it was called the "little general". IIRC, it's now known here as the offset cone weave. Whatever you call it, it's always been one of my favorites.

p.s. I don't think I ever posted this here before, but this is my "glamor shot":

Thank you Abe. It's something you do because you love doing it! Anyone who does it for the pay (ha!), or the power trip really needs to change professions!!
