A few weeks ago we headed along the Sierras. Passes were already closed. Made it to Lassen National Park. Luckily it snowed the week before....elevation 8,512 at the summit.

That's a nice area up around Lassen. We've been camping with the horses just the other side of the park entrance along lost creek.

You were that close to Redding and didn't say anything. I guess we really are the Nor-cal red headed step children up here.... =^)
 
Sorry...we would if we knew where we were going that weekend. We just headed for the Sierras and took roads since the passes were closed already.
