I think I am going to take the boost up to 6 lbs and possibly AFR heads.. Trying to break 300 hp...

Nice car!

If that's a roller block I would get someone to spec you out a roller cam with a set of AFR heads and watch that combo make another 50 at least.
 
You should absolutely bump up your boost level. On a fresh bottom-end, 6-8 lbs on pump gas should not be any issue whatsoever and the power those extra pounds will generate will make a BIG difference.
 
Heads and valve springs will help (a lot). My guess is you can easily unlock another 100HP going up to 8. I am stunned how stable the A/F is with a carb. What opts does it have?

The Carb came from ZRAY and it is a standard Holley650 that I added solid floats to. Dallas Mustang rejetted it and I don't have what they used. Other than that, it is stock..
 
I talked to Dallas Mustang and Archie said he put in .70 in the front and .83 in the rear. The squirters are 42. The rear power plug was blocked off.
