Mustang stance?

Ok I know stock, mustangs ride a little higher in the front. I noticed a while ago, when I got Gert back.. she sits lopsided. The rear passenger side is sitting lower than the drivers rear side, and the whole body leans slightly to the passenger side.

Picture might help show it better .....

I can't get a picture of the side but the front passenger side doesn't sit as low as the back. Basically she sits like the front left is on a jack stand.

The garage floor is level. The right rear tire is a little low, but not that low. I don't know if it's suppose to sit like that or that rear suspension is just that far gone. :shrug

Don't you have a battery sitting back there on the low side? And yes, your leaf spring(s) are showing their age.

Rear leaf springs have been on the buy & replace list since last year. I just don't know what ones I want.... mid eye, reverse... 4 leaf.. 5 leaf... :shrug

Yes the battery sit on that side in the trunk. Hrmm... I'm going to remove the battery and see what that does. :confu

---- Removed the battery. Didn't move much at all. Guess the spring on that side is just that worn.

Well I know that your problem cannot be the same as my 67 coupe. It had that same "lean" issue and I did not find the answer until I swapped out the rear springs with a set from a 69 Mustang equipped with a 428. I had 2 different springs on the rear of my coupe, one was a standard spring and the other was a GT spring. Different part numbers and sitting side by side about 2 inch difference in height.
But I see a new set of rear springs in your future. :part

Might be a dead body in the gas tank.... or an Owl nest.
