It hasn't rained in months....until today

Good chance to refine your skills on a slicker-than-normal track.... :roll

What, you think you're NASCAR or something??? :char Oooooo, raindrops - someone throw a yellow flag... :nut

No wipers, not water tight, no defroster. I do have new tires though...as long as it's not pouring, I might get a few laps in.

Seriously though, I'm like the "Rain Man"

Yeah, definitely

Just leave the car & trailer home... Head for the go-cart track. Bet you could run all day for the same $$$........ :thu

Well, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri have been wondering where the he77 you've been?!?

My Godfather lives near Springfield, MO and he has 200 acres there. This year he planted it all with corn. Last real rain there was back in June and needless to say his entire crop less about 30 acres (he planted that part later) is wasted.

There is a potmetal lining tho, he's bailing the corn stocks and what ever part of an ear is there and selling it to feed lots in Texas and Oklahoma. He's getting about 4 bales an acre and each bale is selling for about $12.00....

Thank goodness he had crop insurance that will reimburse him for about 80% of what he had invested in seed, fertilizer, sprays and fuel.

It was only light rain and it should be gone by noon. Maybe the clouds are just toying with me!

Do you dirt track. I figure if I invite you to my farm to play in the dirt, I should get enough rain to fill my ponds!

LOL

I "gravel" track!

From the sounds of things, you don't "track" any type of surface.......

The worst luck with rain.....maybe drill drain holes in the car and go for the wet look.

Rain came and went. By the time it was ready to go on track, all was dry and the sun even made a few surprise visits!

Car ran great, the new R-S3's were good and got better as the day rolled on.

and then...

A Lotus Elise crashed hard into the inside wall coming out of a high speed corner right in front of me. Destroyed the front of the Elise and from what I heard, the driver has a badly shattered leg. Needless to say, it kinda put a damper on the rest of the day.

Did I mention it DIDN'T rain at the track?

and

Skip got some long tube headers installed on his Saleen, sounds bad a$$ now!!

Oh yeah, didn't rain at the track!
