I thought I had a temper when dealing with salesmen

Didn't get to the brakes on the Magnum today. Had to help a friend out who's wife's car got a flat over night and they couldn't get the tire off. They had tires put on about a month ago and took the car back last week to have the rims re-tourqued. He rounded off a lug trying to get it off. I showed up with my portable air tank with a got the tire pumped up. We got it to the Tire shop and they tried to hit him up $60 for getting the rounded lug off. Of course after they blamed him for rounding the lug nut,He hammered them for overtighting the lug so they could charge him to take it off. He went out to the car and got the owners manual and slammed it on the desk and asked with a lobby full of customers "SHOW ME IN THIS BOOK WHERE IT SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT TORQUING DOWN LUG NUTS AND I"LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO PAY FOR IT!". He got told by the manager "They'll be no charge, move along". I asked him when we got back to his house if the owners manual had anything about torque specs. He said he didn't think so,But knew they wouldn't question it with a room full of people. I thought I had a temper when I got the feeling I was being ripped off.
