Went smartphone crap and all that. I'm not gonna be happy I know and am already p'ed about something. I don't want to "sync" email accounts to this simply because I don't want somebody to be able to pick up the phone and read through everything. I know to lock but humor me. If I "add account" for a yahoo email it does what I don't want it to do. However, I cannot access yahoo email from the yahoo site using the browser. It says "connection failed" when trying to login. It is a motorola milestone x through alltel.
 
are you sure you're not misremembering your login info? I don't have any problems with my Droid X.
 
My Droid Charge works good.....

Do you have a WiFi or 3G hookup working when you attempt the login and such. I had issues at first with the WiFi on mine until I found the on/off section on the phone.....

So far, 2 weeks with this smart phone and I think I am winning......I think.........

Dude, give me a little credit. It's the motorola milestone x and I can link the account and get constant updates but don't want that. I just can't access yahoo mail through the yahoo website...which is what I want.
 
So, if you go to yahoo.com and click the MAIL link in the upper right corner it doesnt prompt for your user name and PW?

It does, I enter, click log in, and get a server connection error. Tried searching online and there seems to be a motorola/yahoo/ssl issue or something. Like I said, I can link with no problem, just can't login after logging in through the yahoo page.
