Headlights not working, parking lights are working...1970 Mustang...are the headlights fused?..or am I looking at a bad headlight switch...Thnx

Have you tried the high beams? It could be a bad connection at the high beam switch or a bad headlamp switch.

high beams do not also come on, I switched out the head light switch still nothing, the running lights and side lights come on but the head lights low and high beam do not work...any thoughts

I would use a volt meter to check for power before just buying parts. Power should be at the dimmer....then at the headlights....both high and low beams based on dimmer position.

Could be a poor ground at the dimmer or broken wires.

The dimmer switch does not use a ground. When they go bad, they simply don't pass the signal through to the headlamps. Pull the connector off; the middle pin (red/orange) is the signal from the headlight switch.
