i ended up having a good week & made lots of progress on the new shop. started out by getting a new set of tires on the truck:
picked up three of these bolt bins for $50
finished up the resto on the borrowed sewing machine that burned in the fire & returned it to the owner who lent it to me;
finished up the ductwork on the paint exhaust fan:
found an old pexto 36" shear on craigslist for $300. the blades look like new for an older unit. i'll eventually take it apart, clean it up & repaint it, but it works fine as is for now
finished running all the ductwork for the heat/air system & ran all the wiring.(saved $1500 by doing it myself) had the a/c guy hook it up yesterday & had good cold air last night, but none today, so that was a pisser... have to wait for the guy to come out monday when he gets back in town to see what the problem is...
while i had a/c i ran the first batch of bike parts thru the paint booth & it worked great!
even got a pic of two moths doing the nasty on my storm door! i'll add this to my "crackin'bugs" file :thu
about all i lack now is getting some shelving purchased so i can get all the junk up off the floor & organized. i found some used steel shelf panels that will fit the frames i salvaged from the fire at a great price on ebay, but they are in michigan & the company wont ship?? i'm going to call monday & see if i can talk them into shipping as i could restore my old shelf system for less than $100 where it will cost over $750 to replace them... i also dropped the mustang off this morning for a front end alignment so i can start driving it again. poor thing has sat covered since before the fire in nov....
