EFI Harness install in 67/68

Does anyone have a pic or dimensions as to where the main harness will fit going through the firewall on a 67/68? I plan on reusing the A/C components and want to make sure I don't interfere with anything under the dash. I would re-install my a/c-heater box assy, but it is not readily available. Thanks in advance.

With factory in dash air in a 67/68 there really isn't much space for a large harness to come through the firewall below the cowl. I would think that it would either need to come in just below the cowl which would be above the A/C evap box, or maybe below the evap box where the vertical firewall meets the angled toe panel, or perhaps a more circuitous route exiting the engine compartment below the hood hinge on the passenger side and then back into the dash area near where the radio antenna wire comes in from the side kick panel just above the glove box. How large is the ECU and where are you planning to mount it?

The ECU will be mounted in a custom box I welded to the cowl side panel, underneath where the antenna enters the cabin. Access to the box is from inside the car and there is plenty of room between the box and the fender, once it is put back on. I recall taking preliminary measurements before removing the AC/heater box and I don't recall running into conflicts but I just cant find the page I wrote the info on - I found everything else but that! I am hoping someone on the forum who has already done this conversion on their 67/68 will chime in with a specific location dimension that works for them.

This may or may not help you... Mine is heavily modified, but the inner cowl and heater box are in pretty much their original position and you can see where the EFI harness passes through the firewall to the ECU which is mounted in the cavity above the glovebox. The wiring prettymuch runs between the bottom of the cowl, and obove the heater box. I don't think this pass through location would work with the ECU mounted in the cowl. IIRC the heater box sort of takes up a lot if that right side corner.
