Does this sound like a good deal?

If it runs and is all there it looks cheap from what I see around here. At that price here, you are lucky to get both paint and running......

I called about it earlier, but haven't heard back from the guy yet.
It seems like a good deal to me. Hopefully he will call me back and I can go look at it.
It's about an hour away from me.

I miss my old fox bodies and have wanted to pick one up again for a while now.
Although it's not a vert.

cool, I may need something like that if I take the job in Georgia. I will have to give up my company car. I could make my Stang a DD but rather find a nice Fox body like this one. Price is nice!

Yea, i seen it on the net yesterday and i was convinced to go look at it today. but for that price, not a chance. Double blue book value for what? Thats pretty close to the color of my 93 GT i sold a few years back. I've been missing that car ever since.

I had 2 lx 5.0 convertibles and I loved them. Both red. I wish I still had either of them.
I got rid of my last one right after I got married.

The newest Mustang I have owned was an 85 GT 5.0 5-speed. I upgraded it to an 8.8 rear w/3.55 gears, a world class T5 and off-road true dual exhaust. It had a custom paint job when I bought ti and it looked great until my ex-wife ran it into a guard rail! I miss that car a lot too!

Very sharp. I like it. :thu

My dad had an ex wife destroy one of his corvettes the same way.
He ordered a brand new 57 vette and she totaled it within a week of him getting it.

my story is a little better I guess. When we got divorced we had a new pickup. I still owed money on it but she wanted it. So I gave it to her and kept making payments. Anyway, she ran it into the ground and some time later had it towed to the dealer where we bought it. I still was making payments so I offered her the Mustang since it was paid for. I got the truck back, fixed it up and sold it, She totaled the Mustang a few weeks later. I sold the truck to her brother who ironically also totaled the truck a year or so later!

I always liked that body style. Had a buddy in high school that had one but seems like his had t-tops.

A friend in the local car club has one similar with an insane motor in it set up with a shot, roll bar, racing harnesses the whole nine yards.

Well this guy isn't returning my phone calls.
Why do people put crap on craigslist then ignore everyone who wants to buy it. :rant
Not like I need another car anyway. :shrug

I found several that are to stupid to understand they can remove the item from CL once it is sold. They just don't answer.....

That's true. Most people don't remove the ad.
However he just listed it Sunday night and I called him early Monday morning.
