Clutch and brake pedals

I am converting an automatic brake pedal assembly to a manual setup. I purchased a new clutch pedal and all the necessary parts from Modern Driveline. They said I just need to cut the end of the auto pedal off to match the shape of the clutch pedal. That is all fine and dandy, but when I mocked it up on the hanger, it appears the clutch pedal hangs at least 1/2" lower than the brake pedal. Has anyone else seen this? Again, I will trim the left side of the brake pedal, but I will still have the height difference.

I am not sure if the clutch pedal is wrong or the brake pedal is wrong. Any pictures of stock 65-66 clutch/brake pedal assemblies would be real helpful. Maybe arm length dimensions as well.
