Is it possible for both teams to loose? I will watch for the commercials and hoping that happens. :censored

I probably won't even watch this year. Did anybody notice RayRay "crying" during the anthem of last week's game....with no tears? And that stupid dance, wth!!!

I can't recall ever being so disappointed in the match-up for a Superbowl...and I'm a Bears fan. I know disappointment.

I too hate Lewis but I also don't like Flacco. To me, he is what I call a chuck it and hope QB. Throw it long and pray Torrey can run under it and make him look good. That's how they got past Denver (that and at least one bad call) and NE.

Also not a fan of SF. I think it crappy what happened with Smith (even though I think he is not their best QB). I really haven't come to accept this new revolution of option type QB offense either. The scramble around style of Wilson in Seattle and more the designed stuff of Cap and RGIII bugs me. It will be short lived. Be it by injuries (RGIII) or simply defensive adjustment. IDK. Just bugs me.

I'll still watch the game and am hoping for some good commercials.

I have no interest in watching the superbowl this year. I'll just catch the commercials online and call it a day.

Try being an Iggles fan, then come talk to me about disappointment.

This Super Bowl is going to be a meh game. Even the half time show(which I was never a fan of to begin with) has major suck written all over it.

I think it's a great match-up...left coast team meets right coast team in the middle for a brawl in the Big Easy! No "Boy" Brady in the mix!

Go 49ers!!!

You guys are just a bunch of cry babies because your team didn't make it.

+1. Last year's NE vs NY East Coast love fest was totally crappy and irrelevant. I'm always happy when Dallas is out of the playoffs.

Meanwhile, be prepared to the see the future of football with the Niners game plan. Of course everyone else will copy that next year; just like Bill Walsh's West Coast Offense of the 80's. Go SF!

I don't think so. There simply are not enough athletically talented QBs available. Of all the young guys this year of that ilk, I think Colin is the only one who might have any longevity. He has the ability to be a pocket passer as well as an option guy. Look at what has happened to RGIII. No one is going to invest big money in a QB who could be a hit away from a serious injury. Putting those guys out there getting that many hits such as a RB takes is not a good formula.

Wilson in Seattle is not so much an option runner as he is a scrambler and time buyer but even he will decline next year. His height and opponent game planning will limit him. He's kind of a Rodgers without the real QB passing skills. He may get better but my money has him regressing.

The only sure young gun is in INDY...and he is a traditional passer.

Those are my thoughts anyway. But for this year, I gotta believe the Niners should win.

I don't know Terry, there are a lot fewer quality traditional pocket passers available. On the flipside you can find more quality athletes that can throw. While they might not be as successful for a long period of time as a pocket passer might be, they can be very good. QB's that used their legs to accent their arms: Cunningham, Tarkington, even Steve Young was a great rusher. I think all 3 young QB's this year showed they can pass very effectively. Guys like Teebow and even Newton rely more on the legs, and they are the ones that won't make it. That's why Vince Young couldn't cut it.

As for the SB. Even though he was a Bear Jim Harbaugh is a whiny little c**t. I want to bitch slap him every timeI see his attitude. That's why Ditka was screaming in his ear all the time. And Baltimore, I really like John Harbaugh, but talk about a thug team. They might as well rename the team Mean Machine.

Easy on NY, Don't be hatin just cause they laid the smack down on the niners in last years playoffs and again in week 6 this season...

This years snorefest will be a good reason to go out in the garage and get some work done..
