I scrounged some '69 Mach I seats off a buddy (woohoo!) to replace my crappy low-back '67 seats. I cleaned em up and they look pretty good, but the latch mechanism on the driver's seat is non-functional. Looking at it, it appears that it's missing a linkage of some sort, but I can't for the life of me figure out what that linkage might look like or how it connects the latch to the handle. Doesn't help that I can't seem to find parts for it anywhere. This is one of those times I'd say 'look in the FSM,' but my '67 FSM doesn't include latching seats=/
Anyone out there have a FSM diagram or can take pics? Hell, can anyone pop the back off their seat real quick and explain it to me? Or tell me where I can find a new latch assembly? I'm scratching my head here...
