I have a 1970 vert with power top, power disks, amfm, ac, and all leather, h code. is there anyone that would be willing to help me figure this thing out I have a BUNCH of questions

Best bet is to ask the questions you have under the specific forum topic. So much is the same on these cars, one may know the answer without actually owning one. Also, some may have owned one in the past.

And we need pics too....board requirement almost.....lol

Agreed, there are too many similarities to list. Just post up your questions.

Ohh, and most importantly we have one main rule....

I've owned my 70 vert since 82. It has AC,Power Steering, power top,and 4 wheel drums. There was an AM 8 track in the trunk when I got it but it's now long gone.Should have kept it. Don't think I've ever seen one with factory leather. Comfort weave yes,But leather no. Unless it was done by a PO or it was a Ford executives car.

Oh yeah,One more thing. A lot of these cars had dealer installed items after they got to thier destination from the factory. I brought mine off the original owner and bumped into him while on a visit to the old neighborhood about 10 years ago. I had found the build sheet when I tore the car down in the early 90's and I was unable to read it due to stains and disintegrated pieces of it. I asked him about the holes in the front valance and he said before he took the car home he had the dealer add the front spoiler and rear wing. He hit a pothole and destroyed the spoiler. He said the white taillight panel he found in a junkyard while searching for parts with a friend for a GTO. So they added that themselves.I did another stupid thing by painting it black(I'm going to have to find something to use to strip the paint off the plastic with.). So be on the lookout for stuff like that.

chpierce from the VMF is a wealth of knowledge with those verts, if for some reason you have people here stumped. I have two 70 cars but not convertibles, so I can help some too.

I got one....., a 70 H code upgraded to M code w/cleveland heads/carb, etc. Has mild engine mods, power top, disc brakes, and a T5-wc installed. If I can help, it will be my pleasure.

I got one as well, ps, pb, power top, standard interior. Original A/C car (not currently installed).
