1967 or 1968 Fastback Roll Bar Position

I had a roll bar bent for my 67 FB and before welding in I want to make sure I position it correctly.

If anyone has pic's of where it welds to floor and exits the top of the side panel would be perfect.

Here is a pic of the roll bar being primed. It will be a four point, but I have to cut the sections that go back to the inner wheel well.

Here you go, if you need something else let me know. On mine I position the top to be Able to use the bolt hole where I think a speed nut goes and guess at the angle. I'm not sure even on the real Shelbys no two bars are exactly the same on the bottom.

If the car is bare on the inside I'd go ahead and fab up the brackets and the seat belt holders. Here's a photo of the bracket and distance to the hole for mounting. If you need any others let me know.

NOTE.............I didn't get the tape measure aginst the bar but it measures about 3.125". I don't bend like I used to.

The difference on mine is that I used convertible inner rockers, so the base of the roll bar is set on the inner rockers as opposed to the floor. If you mount to the bar to the floor be sure to add some 1/8" plate to spread the load. Also do the same on the rear bars mounted to the inner wheel house. just mentioning this in case your roll bar didn't come with mounting plates.
