Fastback Spare

Well... Ok... If not a picture, can someone provide a written description of how the full-size spare fits in the truck? Is it supposed to sit level, or angled down on the gas tank like mine? If it's supposed to sit level, is that accomplished by something that fits between the tire and tank?

Found this doing a google search. Tire will be at an angle since the tank is lower than the trunk floor.
