FPA Headers
« on: October, 28, 2010, 03:19:05 AM »
I have FPA headers on my 68 with a 408. the fit and finish is just terrific, I had a problem with clearance after installing a Unisteer power rack, Stan understood my bumbling explanation of the issue and modified the header at a great price with superior workmanship and service. Give him a call if you're looking for headers he is the best to deal with and knows more about header technology than anybody needs to

He built me some for my 429 and I agree, he knows his stuff! They even have my last name on them!

I have FPA headers.  Gotta love the fit and clearance.  No regrets here.

+3 for FPA.

I did have to dimple one tube a little to clear the pitman arm, no biggie.

+4...Stan lives and breathes Ford exhaust systems.  He is a pleasure to deal with on the phone.  He is knowledgeable and makes a great product.

I did not want to spend almost $400 on Patriot ceramic headers (made overseas and have fit issues), and I did not want to spend $1200+ on JBA.  FPA fit right in the middle...Made in USA product, top build quality.

I bought the ceramic coated Tri-Y headers.  They are coated inside and out, and I chose the "wet gray" color over black or chrome.
