requisite pictures of said stripes installed....
« on: October, 25, 2010, 04:14:16 PM »
I managed to get the stripes on the right side of the car today. You'll recall I had custom ones made, non reflective black only. No laminated layers, no other colors.

I installed the rocker moldings last week.

I'm not sure I'm diggin' it.

Crappy cell pics as I did not have my camera today.

you sure didn't hurt it! They look good. I may have trouble deciding which is better. It really looked good with out them but it also looks great this way. Nice work.

Married to Tara, that makes me the TARA-fied one!

I prefer without....with maybe a small Mach logo somewhere. As for what you have for the stripe, I would like it more if the center portion was solid....seems to busy for a small section of the car.

Not a fan of the stripe. It does add a classy touch to the car, but IMHO, your car is way too bad arse to be classy! Now if you're going for the sleeper look, then I think you nailed it.

I think Pete nailed the look I was going for. I did not think the center cutout would be so distracting but it is. With the center filled it has more of a Twister look but unmistakably Mach 1.

+1.  your comments were almost word for word what i was gonna say.  my first thought was "twister special" with the single color graphic & agree with pete, the center cutout is too much.

Yeah, I think I like the single black stripe as well.  And what is that chrome moulding on the rocker?  Are you adding the Mach treatment lower panel as well?

The solid stripe is better although I'm still somewhat partial to the no stripe look. Both look great, though.

I like the No stripe better, but the solid is way better then the cutout.

The big question is when is J. Going to stripe his.  You know, monkey see monkey do.  :nk
