Stabbed!
« on: September, 25, 2010, 07:56:37 AM »
Got my engine and trans stabbed yesterday. Still need to do a bunch of little stuff. I found a couple spots in the harness where the wires were chaffed pretty bad. Ill fix them before I go too much further.

Not too into chrome and shiny stuff. Going for the factory hot rod look.

I like the distributor base painted blue with the black cap.
The engine looks even better in the car.

It sure beats putting the engine in on my garage floor. Not nearly as embarrassing as the tow of shame after the oil pump locked up. It's only a 1.2 mile ride from my house to the shop.

yeah, the shop you have access to is great. I don't blame you. I'm glad I have a garage but it is crammed full of bikes, lawnmowers, garden tools, etc. I'd hook mine up too! Glad to see it going back together but probably not as much as you!
