Note the overspray on the oil filter boss/area. Hint: screw on a cheap new oil filter while the engine is out of service. Also, put some racer tape over the fuel pump boss to keep debris out.

That's a clean engine. Simple refresh if no internal damage. If it had good oil pressure prior, even with the bent pushrod, I wouldn't worry about the bottom end. Sometimes it's better to just leave stuff alone. If the cam/lifter for the bent pushrod were unaffected, putting the cam on the base circle for that valve and tightening the nut until there is no obvious clearance is fine for now. It's easy enough to adjust once the engine is running.

Remember, keep everything which might expose engine internals covered up. Good luck.

The weather was bad so I did not go deer hunting.  I spent the day working on the passenger side.

Worked some more on the wife's engine.  Easy Off sure cleaned the bell housing good!

What color should the handle for transmission dipstick be?

Hopefully the the stud has not pulled out of the head...

Rotate the engine until the lobe for that lifter is on the heal of the cam, both valves closed. Insert the push rod & place the rocker & nut on the stud. Tighten the nut until you can not wiggle the push rod up or down & the effort to spin has increased, you will still be able to spin it. Tighten the nut another 3/4 turn.

Considering you do not know how the others were adjusted I would adjust all 16.
