Kat I have a 302 as well and I just got an extension from NPD, it was part number 9B339-1 and was $24.95. Fit perfectly

Hope this helps.

I called NPD to ask them, and the guy said try the 67-73 one for 302. Something about the size of threads on the 302 block blah blah blah.

That guy's on crack.  The threads are the same.  I'm running my original 289 extension tube on an '89 302 with no issues.

Shag's original oil extension is on it's way to Texas to mate up with Gertrude.   :eek

And no Kat, I'm not going to clean it. So be sure to clean out the insides real well. You never know where that extension has been.

:lol

Now that's just not right.

Kat, you can go to any parts store and get some nitrile gloves and a can of brake cleaner.  Put on the nitrile gloves before you open any packages coming from the NorCal area, then use the brake cleaner and spray the part down liberally.  Use the little red straw to clean out the inside too.

Use the little red straw to clean out the inside too.

You will need to suck on that straw real hard for the amount of built up crud will be a challenge  :lol
