Tin Man frame connectors
« on: December, 18, 2008, 09:29:12 PM »
When I did the 4-link last weekend I decided to install my Tin-Man frame connectors. They were a breeze to install. The only thing that sucked was my wire feed. In case you were wondering about my new masterpiece exhaust, wonder no more. Had to do it. It sounds like an excessive noice ticket to me :naughty

Here's another pic. No comments from the peanut gallery about my exhaust hanger.

I have the tin man SFC on my 65 FB. They really improve the handling and get the power to the rear wheels more efficiently. A must for these unibody cars.

So if you have to remove your exhaust you simply unblot your seatbelt?  Brilliant! :occasion14:  Would you call that a strap-on?

I wan't going to say anything Mike but since you asked I thought I should reply.  Between the two mods you should have much more traction.  Looking good!

Until I can run the exhaust out a little further there is nothing to hang off of. I don't want to start welding to the undercarriage so I tacked the strap onto the seat belt anchor. I will probably end up dumping the exhaust out just before the rear end where I can catch the hanger location that was previously used.
I can't wait to drive her now. It will be such a long time I probably won't be able to compare the ride from before :drunken_smilie
