Exhaust kits?

Curious, did most of you have your exhaust systems welded or use clamps?

All of mine have been welded. Mostly done by local shops as opposed to buying a kit.

The "cleaner" look is to have any joints welded, however it is practical to have a clamp on the crossover for an "H" pipe.  With a clamp on the crossover, you can remove one side of the exhaust if you need to.

I used the Magnaflow kit.
It's bolted at the header collectors, of course, and clamped on the downstream side of the mufflers.
I wanted to be able to run with open headers, but also to perform selected maintenance.
I've had to pull the tranny once and removing the x pipe was a necessity.

Mine was done by a local shop so no kit.  The H-pipe is welded in and so are the cutouts.  The rest of the system is clamped.
