So after a week on the motorcycle I finally got back and so here's the pics from the Mini Nationals at Sears Point Raceway (I refuse to use the corporate name).

You will see Shag, Shaun from Street or Track, John from Opentracker and Mike Garner in his black '67. Also Bob Bondurant and his wife(?).

Supposedly the first 65 Rcode built in San Jose:

4rth from the left with the pit pass around his neck is Chuck Cantwell - project manager for the GT350 Shelby back in the day.

Far back, 5th from the left is Eric English - auto journalist and contributor to MM, Mustang and Fords, Car Craft, Hot Rod, and others.

2nd from the right, standing, and wearing sunglasses is the owner of 5S002, the car pictured (first R model GT350, and first GT350 race winner, Green Valley (Dallas) Texas in 1965).

The guy leaning over in the middle holding the door is the owner of 5S003 (first street Shelby produced)

Totally cool car...
