My vote too, I'm sure it will be unanimous.  I'm sure he got a kick out of the "where's Johnpro" post.  Rest in Peace, Johnpro.

So did I but I never quite understood the inside joke to it, how/why it got started. Who wants to enlighten me?

+1   It's the least we can do for him.

Kat, do a search on "waldopro" or "where's johnpro" and you will find many posts about this but basically it started at Knotts this year when John wasn't feeling well and could not make the trip so KBMWRS made a bunch of Johnpro masks and brought them with us so a piece of him was always with us.

After that the mask or Waldopro doll traveled world wide........  sigh

Sounds good. Also, I think Scary should be the car behind the Stangfix logo next to the Mustang logo.

So did I but I never quite understood the inside joke to it, how/why it got started. Who wants to enlighten me?

John got the Where's Waldo title years ago when he got two tickets from the Citrus Heights Police within 15 seconds. And another just a few weeks before. It was a running joke that the CH police were always searching for John like "Where's Waldo" books. Then the name stuck and John posted the avatar. It became WaldoPro as time went on. Last year at the cruise down to Knotts, Frank (Crustycrudmugeon) offered up a Waldo doll he purchased on EBay to continue the joke. That along with the mask/pic I made up became a WaldoPro that anyone could enjoy. John enjoyed the joke with all of us.

I just wanted to say I second that idea.

I've been thinking about this since I heard the news last night. While I think it's a good idea, I can't help but be saddened by the fact that John will not see it.

I like Pete's idea too. I'll no doubt be thinking about it the rest of the day today too.

I was thinking about closing the board during his service. Any thoughts?

A good respectful tribute, IMO.

And/or with a pic of his old '66.  I know how much work he did on that car.

I vote to replace my CoTM spot with John's SCARY. I've always wanted to win the prize, but seeing it up there now and  knowing I was up against John makes me feel kinda' ashamed.

I am sure John would say you won it fair and square....you deserve the spot at the top.

another option is to make the October COTM Scary. Fits like a glove.

Scary was its name by John as I believe this was originally his daughters car and had gremlins like no other..... John finally got them shoe-ed out and it's been a fine machine since he has laid hands on it........

I'm all for it.  I would like to print out a pic of john and scary to put on my car as a tribute to him this Saturday at the Summit all mustang show.  I will see if I can print one from here.
