Mustang night
« on: July, 24, 2010, 07:14:39 PM »
I must have missed the memo that it was Mustang night at the local cruise in this week.  We usually have a mix of all different kinds of cars but tonight it was mostly Mustangs.

Decided to snap a picture...

LOL!

Actually most of the "regulars" weren't there.  Maybe because later in the evening I looked up and it looked like judgment day was coming over the horizon when a big thunderstorm started moving in.

I still had some time and it was coming in from the opposite direction of home so I made it home before the storm really hit but the wind was sure getting up when I was pulling in the garage.

On the plus, I discovered with the new rear end I can spin the tires, LOL.  I was pulling out onto the road in a hurry to outrun the storm and punched it.  Thought maybe there was sand on the road or something so I of course had to test the theory at the next light.  It'll spin them if pulling around a turn, not sure about when leaving the line going straight.

Either way, she's running pretty darn good right now.
