Need a couple measurements
« on: July, 16, 2010, 01:10:42 PM »
68 deluxe dash, where is the medallion on the woodgrained upper right trim over the glove box?

Front seat belts along rocker panel, where are the holes?  Please measure from the screws holding on the sill plates.  I guess I could pop mine off, but am trying to avoid taking parts back off that I already put on.

Since I don't have deluxe interior, I assume I can't help you on the medallion location. The piece I have above the jockey box door Has "Mustang" and just to the right is the horse.

Seat Belt hole location:

There are 5 screws along the inside of the sillplate that hold it in place. With the one furthest forward being deemed as #1, the belt hole is 2-1/8" behind #4 screw (2nd from furthest back) and 3-3/4" down from the top of the rocker panel.

I check both sides and they are almost identical in location.

Many thanks Craig.  I was poking around for the hole with the scribe, but no luck so far.  With the measurements I can get in a pretty close spot to "probe" for it.

Found it.  It was lower than what I thought.
