It would take more than that, plus I don't offer any insurance  :ecit That would be a long a$$ drive from KS to CA to FL, back to KS  :ep

If you can get it to Dallas I'll drive it to Panama City...

Youse guys tried uShip.com? I swear I sound like an infomercial for them, but we had great luck. They connected us directly with the trucker and it only cost $300 and took 2 days to get from FL to OH when similar quotes were $750+.

I had awesome luck with them moving my car from Columbus to Atlanta (less than 100 bucks).  BUT...With uShip, it's like eBay...You gotta be careful who you deal with.  Try to make sure they are fully licensed, bonded and insured BEFORE accepting their bid.

Just some info for anyone else looking.....

Not sure if I will go open or closed right now. Open is the way most are shipped........unless high dollar show type.

FedEx bought Passport....closed....$2010

InterCity has a mass of paperwork/info down to measuring the car for size and weight....aggravating.....might look at it later. Hmmm, I stopped half way thru the info on line and they still sent me a quote....closed....$1926

DAS seems good,,,,open $1176, closed $1468

All America is a broker.....farm it out to whomever but sounded good. Odd thing is they say they use DAS....DAS says they do all their own???????open...$1176....closed...$1550

UPS sounds good but cannot find any reviews....This is not the "What can Brown do for you" UPS.....open $889....closed...$1289

Across USA......fair sounding...closed....$1525

First Class.....open $995.....closed...$1450 (feeling most comfortable with them so far)

Looking like DAS and they will do door to door at that pricing. Added a couple hundred for that. Scary reviews on them though

Have you checked Amtrak or the larger moving companies like Mayflower, etc?

I've used intercity on a couple of occasions. Very good IMHO but you pay a premium for them.
In another life I was someone else but now I'm who I'am. Well sort of on alternating Tuesdays if my Meds are just right.

Cmon Bite Me, I know you have a 5th wheel and a trailer who are totally bored.  Pony up and haul that puppy.  You consider swinging through easy town, city or whatever you call that cajun smelling place.

This is making my head hurt.....

Most of these places are brokers as I mentioned earlier. The last one I talked to, Direct Connect... Says there are 182 cars in the Sacramento area needing to go to Florida. These are posted on a web site for drivers to look at for jobs. They naturally take the higher shipping rate cars. They said it could be picked up soon or not....not a comfortable feeling. Seems like it is hard to get a firm commitment from anyone based on this jobs site for pickups......damn.

Maybe I am getting into things to deep and just need to throw a dart at a board...............
