My ears are NOT feeling the love today  :rp

I knew a girl who's ears really felt the love. Every time I tried her mouth she turned her head. :weas

Rob is on a roll.  Very nice.  An extended fork that holds 6 cases of beer.  Hmmmm, sounds like Myrtle Beach transportation.  That would definitely put a new twist to "bike week".

Especially if it could keep it cold!

I have a wild and crazy story involving Trouble, but no bodily damage (to me) occurred, other than slight bruising on my posterior.  Trouble was in my trailer and Chuck and I needed to push it into his garage.  I don't know why we didn't just push it, but we had the great idea that I could sit in the car and he could give it a hard push, it would roll out the trailer, up the embankment, then roll back down toward the garage where I could smoothly steer it into the bay.  That was the plan.

What actually happened:

First of all, the steering box was not connected to the column--the column was just kind of in place.  There was no driver seat, I was sitting on a 4 x 4 board.  There were no brakes, not even a parking brake.  The 390 and C-6 were installed, which provided the weight factor.  Oh, and I couldn't open the driver's door from the inside.

Chuck pushed hard on the front of the car and Trouble obliged, shooting down the trailer ramp, gathering speed, and headed up the embankment.  Cool, everything was going as planned!  But, and there's always a but, when we hit the top of the embankment, the column came out of the steering box and I had no control.  Not that I really had any to begin with.  So, I was on a wild ride back down the embankment.  Because I couldn't steer, and the car had jumped around a little, I now was flying toward the corner of my trailer...with no brakes, no seat belt, just me and the 4x4 board.

Fortunately, Chuck and his wife were able to grab my fastback and stop it right before it clobbered my brand new enclosed trailer.

Then, we sheepishly pushed it into the garage.

That's good Laurie.  Not many people would attempt to guide a car in with no brakes, steering, seat, etc.  Might I ask...........................................How did you expect THAT to work?!?!?!

Well, it actually wasn't my idea.  But, it was the first time I ever drove Trouble.
