Is this the right collector reducer I need?
« on: April, 05, 2010, 12:02:22 PM »

You can see the collector fitting I have.  Its a 3 bolt movable bracket and there is a lip on the end of the header.

This looks like it might fit, but I don't know if it would seal against my collector.

Suggestions?

Its right, but silly expensive... I would bet a local shop could make them up for a fraction of that price.

If you don't need stainless, I think that I have a couple of those type collectors floating around in the shop.  Yours for the price of shipping.  What diameter do you need?

Rob, thanks for the offer.  I'm mating up ceramic coated headers and the Magnaflow stainless exhaust.  Pre-fab'd, these Pypes brand are the only stainless collector reducers I've found that go from 3.0 to 2.5".

Let me do some digging.  I bought Stainless reducers for cheaper than that IIRC.

Awesome, thanks!

I swear I did the sort there using stainless and all that came up were the Pypes brand pieces.
