Over the past couple of weeks, the price of gas has plummeted.  When it came time to fill up Midlife, I got 20.5 mpg for a combined city/hwy driving!  This is with a 4v 289 and 3.0:1 rear end.  The last time I cracked 20 mpg was when I was driving it from DC to FL for the move, and babied it at 55 mph: 22.5 mpg.  This time, I did nothing different to change my driving habits.  My '06 Mustang is now getting 18.5 (instead of 16.5-17.0) mpg going back and forth to work.   

Pete, are you adding gas to my tank without me noticing?  Hmmmmm?
