With a link to car shows this weekend. She replies "Sweet, I'm in".... So I reply and ask her which show she was interested in attending and she tells me to pick one... Then she replies that she thinks she should get a period correct outfit and sends me a link to this site.... http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/

I've seen a few girls dress the part at car shows, just wondering what you think about it.

I'm sorry, but without pics of GF, we cannot appropriately suggest what you should do.

Then, I'd say just get her a gunny sack, toss it over her head and tie the open end around her waist.

Then, heck yeah, get here some of that period correct clothing and a photographer!!

Pin up clothing is HAWT. But she is in the wrong "period" Rick. That attire is more inline with the Rat Rod & Kustom Kulture type generations.

Good intentions though.

And I've already got her outfits lined up for future Rat Rod shows... From that exact same link too.

+1.. thiose are more 50's based outfits, BUT, if its an open type show with those period cars, she'll fit right in.

Sounds like a fun idea, I found a 'race couture' shop in Memphis on a trip and took the wife in to get her fired up about cars. They have checkerboard purses, clothes,tank tops, etc. whatever makes them happy to go is fine with me. Couture means 'high fashion' - I had to look it up... I'm sure there's some online too.
