Color Of Control Arms On A 69

I was wondering if anyone knows the corrct color for the upper and lower control arms for a 69? Yes I know they are black. But is it a satin, gloss, semi gloss or flat black. I am getting ready to paint them and only want to do it once.

I can not give you a paint but I can tell you:

1) Lowers were dipped just prior to the ball joint, not sprayed
2) Lowers the ball joint end, outer, were left natural
2) Uppers were ALL natural
