Hey guys, this is my first thread here and I thought I would get your opinions. I know some of you have already seen this but of these four schemes, which one do you think looks best?

BTW, this is Laurie's Trouble with some new duds.

Thanks

Welcome to the fix.  The first post after a long membership is ok.  I look forward to hearing more from you.  To me, Your engine bay is the standard of clean.

How's the car comming along?  Any recent pics of it?  Its been a long time since i checked into the vmf and looked around.

As for your question, i like the second pic the best.  Im never been a big fan of the side "C" stipes, but something really pops with that combo.  I like it.

Ohh, here at stangfix, you can actually post it as a pole, so even if people dont choose to comment, they can still vote.

Nice to see you over here Mark.  I like the 3rd pic, only C stripes.  Please update us on your progress since the accident.

I like the last one.  I never really liked the C stripes.  I like the stripe on top with the thin pin stripes on both sides.

The stripe at the bottom of the sides are pretty classic.

Welcome to the dark side!

Not a fan of the "C" but think the green needs something to offset it on the sides. Vote for number 4.

The 4th one. Having a bit on the lower sides breaks up the mass of green with just the right touch.

I like #4 best with #1 in second place... never cared for the C stripe all that much.  Welcome aboard! :)

Nice to see you back Mark!

I like number 4.

Have you toyed with stripe colors other than white? That bright green is screamin' for pearl stripes.

Thanks for the comments guys. Progress on the car has been very slow. I have had no time for anything but family and work. I'm hoping to have the car back home this spring and if I'm lucky back on the road this summer.

The pearl is an interesting idea. To me though the car just needs white stripes. She has been green with white stripes since she rolled off the line in Jersey and to me it just works.

Are you going back with the green that was on it prior to the incident?

I thought maybe you were doing a louder variant of that color. If you are going back like it was, white is a no brainer. That car looked awesome.

I'm going back to the same color, it's what really drew me to the car in the first place. This will be her 2nd re-paint and the color was several shades different than the factory lime gold. Here is a pic I took a day before the accident, that shows the color pretty well.

I'm gonna break ranks and change to number 3.

While I'm not a big fan of the C-stripe, I think it's that car's identity.

The stripe across the top and the c-stripe is a little too much IMO.

I'm thinking 2 or 4. I like the racing stripe and feel it needs something on the side also.

Welcome back Mark!

I kinda remember this poll on the VMF, but can't remember WTH I said then. Looking at the options now, I like #3, the car looks meaner without the hood stripes.

I forgot to add that I almost did the #4 combo and then decided at the last minute to leave it a solid color.  If you are having a hard time deciding leave it plain green.  Then drive it for a while before you add the stripes.  That would allow you to tape the stripes on and see exactly how it would look.  Just a tip.
