TURN INDICATOR

turn signal does not come on...it flickers a lil bit and the light is brighter but does not blink.

what gives?

Have you checked for a short in the steering column?  Also it might be a fuse?

Usually, when the signal indicators are always on, that means there's an open circuit caused by a burned-out bulb, bad connection, or corrosion.  A faulty ground can also do this.

If it is both sides, it could be a bad flasher also.

Put new flasher in and it works now.  But only the passenger side.  Driver side does not work.

So the passenger side is now working....  is the instrument cluster TS indicator also flashing as it should be?  What about when you select a left turn.... you state that the left side TS isn't working, but what about the instrument cluster TS indicator?

It sounds to me like you need to start checking for power.  Start at the socket and work your way forward.
