Barn Find 69 fastback
« on: November, 15, 2009, 06:35:48 PM »
F code car.

Needs:
  • Floors
  • trunk floors
  • Hood
  • Deck Lid
  • Inner wheel houses
  • Outer wheel houses
  • quarters (had patch panels already)
  • Doors (worst I've seen)
  • Fenders
  • Trunk filler
  • Rear body panel

Did not even look at the torque boxes and rails.
Interior is completely destroyed. Title problems. Has not been on road since 2000.

Most of the trim is there and the glass is all nice :craz

What kind of $$$ do you think it might be worth.

I forgot my kick a$$ 10mp pink camera and had to take pics with my cell. I would have got some gnarly close ups. The thing really is quite rough.

I'm not a bit afraid of patching and repairing, but there is a point when you have to go all the way.

I could maybe save the left fender. The structures coming down from the inner sail panels to the inner wheel houses are even rusted.

If the roof and inner structure are solid along with the rails and rockers, it would make a great restomod project!

If you're going to part it out, I put dibs on the underdash harness for $50.

Title problems. Has not been on road since 2000.

Depending on how bad the title problem is, it might be worth almost nothing. I've got a buddy who is still trying to get the title issues resolved so he can legally drive his vette barn find. Estate / probate / arguing relatives / and on and on...   :scar

Check out the legal problems first - it's harder to fix than rust.
