$21.95 for a 4 pack.   So, still $109.75 for 20 of'em.

Think I'll pass.  But cool though.  Maybe if I fall face first into a pile of 5  $20 dollar bills I'll get them...

Those are the nuts I was referring to.....

Has anyone noticed the price of regular old lug-nuts at the local parts store?  Damn....  it seems that I pay at least $2 ea for the regular ole generic nuts, $5.50 a nut doesn't sound so bad when you look at it that way.

You paid too much!

Dave, these are the ones I bought from eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130304058088

$2.49 (for 5) X quantity 4 = $9.96.  That's .498 cents per acorn nut.  Tack on $4.95 shipping (.2475 cents per lug) for a total cost of $0.7455 per lug.

If you get chrome acorn nuts, I'd recommend McGuard brand.  They have a lifetime warranty against rusting/flaking chrome.  There really is a difference between those and the cheap chinese crap you find online.

I think I'm gonna order some of these extra long, Mad Max wheel studs so I can cut the tires down on that Cruzer as she laps me.

Well, here are pics of the new studs and acorn nuts I'll be installing before the next track event. Replacing them at all 4 wheels, I've had the old ones on there since 2004.

Question while I am looking at the longer studs... does anyone know what rotors I have?  I got the rotors/spindles as a piece years ago, spindles are '70 Mustang disc-brake, but no indication what the rotors are.  They are 11 3/16 diameter, ventilated, and 7/8" thick.  Only marking is a stamp "BPC 533"

Any ideas?
