Battery died today
« on: February, 08, 2012, 05:51:33 PM »
Got 9 years out of my Optima Red Top.   The price has sure gone up in 9 years, I paid $79 for it in 2003.  Autozone quoted me $189 for a new one.  Hope I get 9 years out of the next one.   The one in the minivan is now 6 years old and still going strong.

If Advanced Autoparts is near you,  the base price is about the same, but if you buy online you can use code "P20" to get 20% off.   "A123" 10 off 30,  20 off 50, or 30 off 100.   "BIG50", 50 off $200,   "BIG30", 30 off 75.    Pay online, get the discount and go pick it up at the store...  If they are not nearby,  orders over $75 get free shipping.

P20 only works only 1 time now,  but "P15" also works most of the time for 15% off any amount.
