THAT would be interesting. Don't think I've ever seen a mustang with a retro engine.

I love a 32 ford hot rod but then it would have a ford engine , any ford engine.

Chevy parts a cheap and plentiful compared to Ford parts.

sbc's are also shorter than sbf's. before some of the aftermarket & ford motorsport started producing rod friendly items such as short water pumps/pulley systems, getting the longer ford motors in the relatively short engine bays created lots of headaches. also helps that most parts could be taken off a 65sbc & bolted right up on an 85sbc. ford tended to change things a bit over the years...
